Yeah, Man We Got to Grow Up |

It’s funny how school can be so uninteresting when we are in it. But when it’s gone we long to learn new things.
In high school I hated my French classes and my history classes but these days whenever I write a text, I take great care to convey an idea in the best way that I can. It’s a skill so I’m convinced that with practice I can become better even though I have a weak foundation of knowledge for that skill.
Some people will simply try to avoid getting in a sticky situation that requires that skill. This doesn’t just apply to writing, it applies to any skill you can think of. The only way we can improve ourselves is to dive into it and try and learn with our mistakes. Some people think that making mistakes isn’t good, but in fact, it’s with our mistakes that we learn. So we shouldn’t be afraid to make mistakes, what we should be afraid of is if we don’t learn anything from our mistakes.
I think my desire to improve myself in every way possible only started a few years ago, probably during my 3rd semester of University. Various people planted ideas before that time but it was really at that point in my life that things really started to move forward. Before having the desire to improve myself, I was content to be who I was, most people would say that it’s fine. But I’d like to point out that there is no harm in trying to improve oneself.
I like how my life is at this point. I’m striving to be better in everyway. People wonder what is the purpose of life, my purpose is to strive to be a better person.
