Could've been interviewed |

Hey guys, check out what I found in my myspace inbox just a bit late. If I'd read that right when I received it, I would have really thought about doing it. But hey, shit happens. This guy actually wanted to interview me for the radio. I know what you're think, scam but I'm pretty sure it's not a scam. I would have found out real fast if it was anyway.

Subject: Like Harry Potter?
Hi, Phil
My name is Michael Munnik, and in addition to being a folk musician (which you can see from my MySpace) I'm also a journalist with CBC Radio.
I'm gonna cut to the chase: through a couple of Internet searches, I've come up with your name as a Harry Potter fan who possibly lives in Ottawa. If you are, that's great, because that's just what I'm looking for.
I work with the show Ottawa Morning, and I'm seeking people who've read the books and are eagerly anticipating Book 7, which comes out on Saturday. I want a couple of reviewers who could talk with us on the show Monday morning about the book and the whole experience of closing down the Potter series.
So, you need to be a reasonably fast reader, in that it's helpful if you've already read the book come Monday morning. And you need to be able to talk about what Harry Potter means to you.
So first step is for us to chat. I'm at work from 1-9 on Wednesday and Thursday. Can you get in touch with me, either by e-mail or you can call me at work? My number is ***-***-****. We'll chat and see where it goes from there.
I hope to hear from you soon! Keep well,
Michael Munnik"
Talk about cool, well that's all for now.
